Dear esteemed colleagues and friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the 3rd Asia Pacific Adult Congenital Heart Disease Symposium (APSACHD 2023) in Taipei, Taiwan from May 20 to 21, 2023. And this congress is also in conjunction with the 53rd Annual Convention & Scientific Session of the Taiwan Society of Cardiology, 2023.

This theme highlights the importance of collaboration between Pediatric Cardiologists and Adult Cardiologists in driving the development of new technologies and treatments to benefit patients with cardiovascular disease. It is our hope that this conference will foster discussions on the latest research findings and cutting-edge technologies in the field of adult congenital heart disease.

The APSACHD presents ADHD views of Heart Failure, Surgery, Debates, Interventions, Imaging, Women Health, Psychosocial Issues, and challenging cases. The TSOC shows program of Prevention, Cross Discipline, Critical Care Medicine, CMR, EPS, Basic, Structural Heart Disease, PAH, education, medical quality, primary care. We also have joint sessions from Japanese Circulation Society (JCS), American College of Cardiology (ACC), Korean Society of Cardiology (KSC), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Japanese Endovascular Treatment (JET). Taiwan Society of Hypertension (TSH), Taiwan Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (TAGG), Taiwan Association of Family Medicine (TAFM), Taiwan Association for the Study of the Liver (TASL), Taiwan Society of Lipids & Atherosclerosis (TSLA), Taiwan Society of Cardiovascular Interventions (TSCI). The highlight of this year is Career Workshop and Quiz battle for young Investigators. Don’t forget TaipeiLIVE with several experts to demonstrate educational cases and Satellite Symposia.

Finally, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the organizing committee, the scientific committee, and all those who have worked tirelessly to make this conference a reality. Your efforts have ensured that this conference is of the highest quality and I am confident that it will be a great success. As the President of the APSACHD Congress and President of the Taiwan Society of Cardiology (TSOC), I believe our scientific program and the beauty of our city will intrigue you all!
